Definition of Fetish:
A fetish is defined as any inanimate object given unreasonable attention,
or any part of the body not of a sexual nature that arouses erotic feelings.
A fetish is also when an individual is sexually aroused by a object
or objects and is generally unable to achieve sexual satisfaction
without that object being present.
When it comes to fetishes, there is something for everyone
and maybe a few more than that :) They include ....
Agastopia
means the adoration of a single part of another persons body.
It can be something quite common such as a woman's breasts or a man's
genitals, although it could be any part of the body. For example,
a foot fetishist has agastopia of people's feet.
Emetophilia
is a sexual fetish in which an individual is aroused by vomiting or
observing others vomit. When emetophiles put emetophilia into practice
by actually vomiting, especially on a partner, it is called a Roman
shower, after the frequent induction of vomiting at Roman feasts.
Necrophilia
A fetishistic attraction to dead people or creatures. Includes but
not limited to having sex with a dead body (which is illegal).
Voyeurism
is a practice in which an individual derives sexual pleasure
from observing other people. Such people may be engaged in sexual
acts, or be nude or in underwear, or dressed in whatever other way
the "voyeur" finds appealing
.
Zelophilia
- is when one becomes sexually aroused by feelings of jealousy.
Xenophilia
is a sexual attraction to strangers (for example, as part
of Dogging) or alien life forms (for example, in the fantasy / fetish
work of H.R. Giger.)
Phobophilia
is the sexual attraction to something which causes fear.
The word is made out of the words "Phobia" (greek for 'fear')
and "Philia" (greek for liking/enjoyment of). Phobias are
often used in BDSM to create fear and sexual excitement in a bottom.
Infantilism
(paraphilic) is a certain psychological condition experienced
by those whose level of physical maturity has clearly progressed beyond
the life-stage of infancy. The defining aspect of this condition is
the derivation of a profound sense of well-being or of a certain type
of great pleasure that becomes associated with various infantile objects
and/ or infantile roleplaying.
